Kermit Ford was 9th child born of George and Victoria Ford. Kermit married Christine Williams and from their union one daughter was born and given the name Doris Jean.
He now has one grandson, Ricky; two great granddaughters, Aeshia and Jasmine; and one great, great grandaughter, Ashea.
Kermit loved the Lord, and was very active in the church. He served as a Superintendent of the Sunday school and as a Deacon at Roans Chapel Baptist Church. He sang with the Roans Chapel Quartet, along with his brother, and other members of Roans Chapel.
Like many of his relatives, Kermit was a man that wore many hats. He was a farmer, rancher, school bus driver, trucker, and in his later years managed the Sinclair Service Station in Brazos County. It was said by his daughter that Kermit was always his own boss; he never worked on jobs where he wasn't the boss.
